Baguio City

Day 3 - December 25, 2017

Before we started celebrating our Christmas, we do the traditonal Noche Buena that eats different kinds of foods when waiting for the day of the birth of Jesus Christ. After that, we celebrate with a party, jam time and exchanging gifts. We also played different games where the person in-charge with it is my uncle. We had so much fun and hoping that it will not end. But as time pass by, when all of us are already tired, we decided to rest and prepare for the sun to shine.

We get the chance to make customized shirts for all of us before going to Baguio. The shirts has "Just Love" print just like the Christmas logo of ABS-CBN. My mother is the one who get this idea since we want to have a memorable Christmas celebration.

Due to bad news, our family needs go home that day because the person who is guiding my grandmother in Batangas has to leave. So we did not get the chance to be with our relatives exploring another destination in Baguio. We don't want to leave but we need to. That's why we packed our things and said goodbye to our relatives hoping to bond again soon and hoping to have another celebration like this.

Before we go straight home, we stop by Manaoag Church. It is located in Manaoag, Pangasinan. It was given it's canonical coronation in 1926 though the church was built in 1610. Our Lady of Manaoag is a religious shrine with with countless miraculous tales and healing powers. It is considered the pilgrimage shrine of northern Philippines. The Pilipino Catholics consider Our Lady of Manaoag as the revered patroness of the sick, the helpless and the needy.

I was not able to take several pictures of the church as the place was too crowded outside and inside the church because we all know that it is Christmas day. But, we get the chance to hold the Our Lady of Manaoag as I say my prayers and thanksgiving.
